How am I protected as a buyer? What is the Jawa Money Back Guarantee?
Our top priority is ensuring trust between buyers and sellers. You can shop with confidence on Jawa knowing that all listings are digitally moderated by our in-house PC experts. We review each part or rig listing to make sure it meets our standards of authenticity and fair pricing. If something looks fishy about a listing, we remove it until we speak with the seller and verify it.
How am I protected as a Seller?
A big reason we built Jawa is because we know how frustrating it can be to sell your beloved PC parts online only to get scammed or stuck in a months-long dispute process.
At Jawa, we allow up to 2 days after delivery for a buyer to dispute the item. After 2 days, we release the funds to the seller. In case of disputes, our team will work with the buyer and seller to investigate the claim. Here is how you can best be protected:
- Keep all communication about the transaction on the Jawa platform
- Take photo/video documentation of the item, the serial number, and you packaging the item. This helps with shipping damage claims
- Reach out to the Jawa team immediately if something goes wrong at email@example.com
Returns and Refunds
SUPER IMPORTANT: JAWA IS A MARKETPLACE THAT CONNECTS THE BUYER AND THE SELLER. SALES ARE FINAL. THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS IF THE PRODUCT YOU RECEIVE IS NOT AS DESCRIBED IN THE LISTING. YOU MUST INSPECT YOUR PURCHASE AND SUBMIT A CLAIM WITHIN 2 DAYS OF DELIVERY IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND.
If your order never arrives, or if your item is inauthentic, damaged, defective, or differs significantly from its listing, you will receive a full refund with our Jawa Money Back Guarantee. Just follow these steps to request your refund:
- Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 2 days of receiving your part or file a dispute on your order by logging in to your Jawa account, going to "My Purchases", opening the relevant purchase invoice, and click "Dispute this Purchase".
- If the product needs to be returned, we will cover shipping expenses and provide you a return shipping label.
- Return the product - once it's been verified as received by the seller, we will issue your refund. Please note that refunds can take 5-10 days to process from Stripe.
