Who pays for shipping?
When a seller lists a product, the seller can opt to use a shipping label provided by Jawa, or they can provide their own label. Some sellers may require you to cover shipping as the buyer, while others may take care of shipping themselves. If a listing has free shipping, you will see the "Free Shipping" badge on the primary photo or on the listing page as shown in the example below. Reach out to the seller if you want to know more about their specific shipping methods used.
When does my payment process for my order?
Your payment will is processed once the order is placed - if you are submitting an Offer to a seller, there will be a hold placed on your payment method for the amount offered to expedite checkout.
If you have any issues with your payments, please contact us at support@jawa.gg.
Do I get refunded if my part arrives damaged?
Buyers are protected by the Jawa Money Back Guarantee. If your part arrives dead on arrival (DoA) please reach out to support@jawa.gg and we will work with both you and the seller to facilitate a refund.
For sellers - how damaged shipments are handled depends on a few factors, such as if you purchased shipping insurance.
- If you purchased a shipping label from Jawa AND elected for shipping insurance, please see this article.
- If you chose manual shipping, you need to file a claim with the respective shipping carrier you used (UPS, USPS, FEDEX)
In any case where your item is damaged, please reach out to support@jawa.gg so we can work with you and the buyer to reach a resolution for both parties
How long does it take to get my money back if I need a refund?
Per Stripe's refund guidelines, it can take 5-10 days for a refund to post to your original payment method.
