What do I need to do to start selling on Jawa?
The first thing you need to do to start selling on Jawa is create a Jawa account! Once you have your account set up, click on the SELL button at the top of the screen to start a new listing.
In order to get paid, you'll need to connect to us via Stripe. You can do this by clicking "SETUP STRIPE" in the new product listing, or by clicking your profile picture in the upper right to open the menu, and navigation to My Listings. You should see a button that says “SETUP STRIPE”.
Customizing Your Store
Customize your store and give it some personality so then buyers can feel secure when buying from your store! Upload a profile and banner image on your store page by going into your Profile Settings page. Fill out your bio and feel free to link your social media accounts to your store page as well!
How do I set up a Stripe account?
To set up a Stripe account, start by going to the My Products page from the main menu. On that page, you should see a button that says “SETUP STRIPE”. Click that button to open the Stripe setup dialog.
To finish setting up Stripe, you will need to give them some information about yourself as well as what you will be selling. If you are having trouble answering any of the Stripe questions, check out the Stripe help center which has tons of great resources.
Some tips for setting up Stripe:
- When asked about industry, buying and selling PC parts often falls under home electronics.
- If you do not have a website for your store, you can add a description about building and selling PC parts instead.

Who will see my personal banking information?
The personal information you share with Stripe will only ever be used by Stripe to verify your identity and process payments. The Jawa team will not have access to this information. We will only see the information you share with us through your Jawa account settings, such as your email and user name.
